My name is Julie Valente and my goal is to buy and run a business for the long run.
I live in Orinda with my husband, our two young children, and our dog Dany.
After spending 15+ years in corporate business, I am making the transition to business ownership in my local area, Northern California. Through my time in management consulting and working with digital health start-up’s, I’ve applied my academic training in business administration and honed general management and leadership skills. I’ve worked in operations, sales, marketing, and corporate strategy, helping my organizations grow and navigate complex challenges.
After working with many small business owners in my last corporate role, I discovered a deep alignment to the reasons they got into business ownership and why they were fulfilled by their businesses:
ability to bet on themselves and build financial opportunities for their families
ability to invest in and impact people in their local communities
intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous growth
My passion lies in leveraging my extensive corporate experience to contribute meaningfully to a smaller enterprise's success. I'm dedicated to preserving its unique identity while implementing strategic improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
I have a M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley Haas School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
